The digital business card cost in the UAE in 2026 can be as low as zero dirhams. A card with a link, a QR code and tap-to-share is free on MyInfo and on several international apps. You only start paying when you want extras such as lead capture, analytics or private cards, or when you want a physical NFC card, which is a one-off hardware cost that, in the examples we checked, starts at about AED 39 for a single card. The rest of this guide separates the three buckets (free, paid and hardware), shows prices we could verify, and is honest about the one price we cannot publish for you: MyInfo Premium, which is sold through partners rather than a checkout page.

The short answer: three separate costs

People often talk about "the price of a digital business card" as if it were one number. It is really three separate things, and mixing them up is how people overpay or get surprised.

The first is the card itself: the web page that holds your name, photo, links and contact button. On MyInfo this is free to create and to keep. The second is the plan: extra features that sit on top of the card, such as lead capture, visit analytics and private cards. That is where subscriptions and licences appear. The third is hardware: an NFC card, tag or stand that opens your card when a phone taps it. Hardware is bought once, like a printed card, and the chip only stores your card's address.

What a free digital business card includes on MyInfo

Every MyInfo card starts on the free plan. According to the pricing page and our own free versus Premium breakdown, a free card includes a published profile with your name, company, role, contact details, photo and bio, a choice of templates and styling, links and social icons, sharing by web link, QR code and NFC tap, and a Save Contact button that lets a visitor add you to their phone in one tap.

There is no trial clock. There is no credit card to enter and nothing to cancel. We wrote a plain-language version of this in is MyInfo really free. Free plans do have limits, for example one text section and one video per card, so a card with a long services list or a video library is a reason to look at Premium.

What matters for cost is that the free card is not a demo. If your goal is to replace a printed card with something you can update in thirty seconds and share on WhatsApp, the free plan already does that job. You can see how in how to create a digital business card, which takes a few minutes.

What paid adds, and how MyInfo handles pricing

Premium on MyInfo adds lead capture (an Exchange Contact form, a lead inbox and CSV export), visit analytics, private cards protected by a six-digit access code, more videos and text sections, and priority support. Plans apply per card, so one account can hold free and Premium cards side by side.

Here is the honest part. MyInfo does not publish a Premium price online. The pricing page says Premium is unlocked through a partner with no pricing shown, and that is deliberate. Partners across the UAE agree the price with you directly, issue a licence PIN, and you activate it from My PINs in your dashboard. The steps are in activate a licence PIN. Partners can also quote bulk licences for a team, which is explained in where to get NFC cards and upgrade to Premium in the UAE.

So if you read a blog post that claims to tell you "the price of MyInfo Premium" in dirhams, check where the number came from. It will not be from us, and it will not be from the pricing page. The practical route is to open the partners page, message one on WhatsApp, and ask for a quote for the number of cards you need. If the licence ends, the card goes back to the free plan and keeps working; nothing is deleted.

What international apps charge, in dirhams

To judge any quote, it helps to know what the wider market charges. These are published list prices we read on each vendor's own pricing page in October 2026. They are in US dollars, and we convert at the UAE dirham's fixed peg of about 3.67 dirhams to the dollar. Treat conversions as approximate and remember that VAT may apply on top.

Blinq lists a free plan with one or two cards, a Premium plan at $9.99 a month, or $7.33 a month billed annually (roughly AED 37 and AED 27), and a Business plan for teams at $6.99 a month, or $4.99 per user a month billed annually (roughly AED 26 and AED 18). HiHello lists a free Personal plan with four cards but only five card or badge scans a month, a Professional plan at $6 a month (roughly AED 22), and a Business plan at $5 per user a month for five to a hundred users (roughly AED 18). Popl no longer lists a public price; it asks you to book a demo for a quote.

Two things stand out. First, a typical individual paid plan from an international app lands around AED 20 to 40 a month, which is AED 250 to 450 a year. Second, the free plans are real but they often cap something, such as scans or cards, so read the fine print before you build around one.

One more data point from a UAE business-setup angle: Meydan Free Zone lists a "Digital Business Card" service at AED 240, described as a QR-based card with a company email and phone extension, on its business card services page. That is a bundled admin service for free zone companies, not a like-for-like comparison with a self-serve card, but it shows that some UAE providers price the idea as a one-off fee rather than a subscription.

NFC hardware: what a physical card costs in the UAE

An NFC card is a small chip in a card, sticker or stand. It stores one thing, your card's web address, so it never needs reprogramming when you edit your details. The chip is where the one-off cost sits.

We could verify two UAE price points. Ziina, a UAE payments company, lists NFC cards for its business account holders at AED 39 for one card or AED 79 for a pack of three, with the amounts including 5 percent VAT, on its help centre. At the blank end of the market, Carrefour UAE lists a 100-piece pack of blank programmable NFC cards at AED 221.64 including VAT, which is a little over AED 2 a card before you add any printing or design. Abroad, Blinq says its NFC cards start at $24.99, which is roughly AED 92.

Those are different products. A blank card needs your link written on it (a free NFC writing app on your phone can do that, as explained in program an NFC card step by step). A branded card arrives printed with your logo. A metal or wooden card costs more again. Premium and luxury finishes can cost far more than any of the figures above. Our rule of thumb is simple: pay for the finish you want people to see, never for the chip, which is cheap.

MyInfo itself does not sell NFC cards; partners handle that, and some will set up the link for you on the spot. Before you buy anywhere, run through questions to ask before you buy an NFC business card in Dubai.

Hidden costs to watch for

The headline price is rarely the whole price. These are the places a digital business card cost can quietly grow.

Auto-renewing subscriptions. Many apps ask for a payment card up front and renew automatically. Put a reminder in your calendar, or choose a model with no auto-renewal. MyInfo's free plan asks for no payment details at all.

Usage caps. HiHello's free plan, for instance, limits scans to five a month. If you plan to go to a conference and meet fifty people, a cap like that matters more than the monthly fee.

Per-lead fees. Blinq's pricing page describes captured and enriched leads as a credit-based charge of $9.99 per lead on its lead-capture product. That model can make sense for a large company that wants enrichment; it is a very different cost from a flat licence for lead capture. Always ask whether leads are included or metered.

Lock-in. If your card address belongs to an app, switching later means every printed QR code and NFC card points to the wrong place. Choose an address you control and can keep, as covered in choose a card address that people remember.

Reprint costs you stop paying. This one is a saving rather than a cost. A paper card has to be reprinted when a title or number changes. We walk through that in the cost of reprinting business cards versus digital, and the worked three-year numbers are in paper versus digital business cards over three years.

Teams: how cost scales per person

For one person, the difference between free and paid is a few hundred dirhams a year at most. For a team, the multiplication is what matters. Ten staff on a per-user plan is ten times the monthly fee. Ten staff on separate printed runs is ten design proofs and ten orders.

Digital cards scale better than paper for teams because a shared theme keeps every card consistent and a new joiner can have a live card on day one. Read create a card for someone else or your team and how many digital business cards does a company need before you ask for a bulk quote. Partners can issue licence PINs in bulk, and it is reasonable to ask for a per-card price that falls as the number of cards rises. Sales-led teams usually get the most from the paid features; see digital business cards for sales teams.

How to decide in ten minutes

You do not need to commit to anything to find out what you need. Here is a decision path that costs nothing until the last step.

First, create a free card. Fill in your name, role, photo and the two or three links people actually use, such as WhatsApp and your website. Share it as a link and a QR code for a week.

Second, ask yourself whether you are missing anything. If people ask you for a video, a long services list or a private page, that points to Premium. If you go to events and want to capture who you met, or you want to see how often the card is opened, that also points to Premium. We cover the signals in when to upgrade to Premium.

Third, decide on hardware separately. An NFC card is worth it if you meet people in person every week and want a one-tap handover. It is not worth it if you work mostly by WhatsApp and email, where a link does the job. NFC versus QR code business cards will help you choose.

Fourth, if you decide to upgrade, get at least two quotes, from a partner and from any alternative you are considering, and compare the price per card per year, not per month. Ask what happens at renewal and what happens to your card if you stop.

A sensible budget for a UAE professional

Putting the buckets together, here are three realistic setups. They use only the figures above, so check current prices before you buy.

A free-only setup costs AED 0 and covers sharing by link, QR and NFC if you already own a tag. A free card plus one NFC card costs AED 39 at the price we found, plus nothing for the card. A Premium card with NFC costs the partner's quoted licence price plus the hardware; we cannot give you that figure, and anyone who does without a source is guessing.

Frequently asked questions

Is a free digital business card good enough in the UAE?

For most individuals, yes. A free MyInfo card includes templates, a link, a QR code, NFC-tap sharing and a Save Contact button, with no trial or credit card, so it can fully replace the paper card you hand out. You may outgrow it if you need lead capture, analytics, a private card, more than one video or several text sections. Those are Premium features, unlocked by a partner's licence PIN. Start free and upgrade only the card that needs it, because plans apply per card.

How much does an NFC business card cost in Dubai?

It depends on the finish. In the examples we checked, Ziina lists NFC cards at AED 39 for one or AED 79 for three including VAT, and Carrefour UAE lists a pack of 100 blank programmable cards at AED 221.64 including VAT. Branded, metal or wooden cards usually cost more. MyInfo does not sell NFC cards itself, but its partners can supply and set them up. The chip only holds your link, so you never pay again when your details change.
