NFC business card

An NFC business card opens your MyInfo digital card when a phone taps it. Learn how it works, what you need and how to get your link onto an NFC card.

An NFC business card is a physical card or stand with a small chip inside. When a phone is held near it, the phone reads a web link stored on the chip and opens it. With MyInfo, that link is your digital business card.

MyInfo provides the digital card. NFC business cards and stands are available through our partners across the UAE.

How it works

  1. You create your card and get its address, for example myinfo.ae/yourname.
  2. Your card's link is written onto an NFC card, sticker or stand.
  3. Someone taps their phone on it and your card opens in their browser.

There is no app to install on either phone, and you can change your card any time without touching the physical card — the link stays the same.

What you need

Phone compatibility

Most modern smartphones can read NFC tags. On many Android phones NFC needs to be switched on in settings. Recent iPhones read NFC tags directly when the screen is on. If a phone cannot read NFC, the person can scan your QR code instead.
