Design Week is a walking, talking portfolio review: you meet a developer, a gallery owner or a fellow studio in a courtyard, and the question is always "can I see your work?" A Dubai Design Week 2026 digital business card plan answers that on the spot, with your name, your contact and a link to your projects on their phone before they walk on. This guide uses a MyInfo card and only features the product really has.
What we found about Dubai Design Week 2026
Search results citing the official press release list the 12th edition of Dubai Design Week for 3 to 8 November 2026, centred on Dubai Design District (d3), with the Downtown Design fair running 4 to 8 November. We did not open the full programme, which had not been fully published in the sources we saw. Confirm dates, venues, passes and your own programme with the organisers before you plan your days.
Why designers need a better card than a paper one
A paper card cannot show a project. A digital card can: a links, videos and content section puts your portfolio, Instagram, a project video and your studio website behind one tap. Because you edit it online, a new project or a changed title is live without reprinting (update your card in 30 seconds).
Put your best work behind one link
Visitors will give your card about ten seconds. Lead with one strong portfolio link, then a short list of the rest: Instagram, Behance or your own site, and WhatsApp for enquiries. Keep the order deliberate and hide what you do not need (reorder and hide sections). For ideas on what to show, see add your portfolio or menu to your card and our guide for interior designers in Dubai.
Make the card look like your studio
A design audience notices style. Choose a template or build a saved theme with your studio colours and fonts so the card feels like your brand rather than a form (create a custom theme). If several people from the studio attend, give each their own card in the same theme (cards for your whole team).
Make the QR code work in a crowded venue
Put a QR code on your stand, name badge holder or a small display, with a clear margin and the words "Scan to see our work". Test it on an iPhone and an Android phone at the distance a visitor will stand (QR code size and placement). If you carry an NFC card, program it and keep the QR code as backup.
Follow up after the week
A free card lets people save your contact. To receive their details through an Exchange Contact form, with a lead inbox and CSV export, you need Premium (lead capture). Premium is unlocked per card with a licence PIN from a partner. MyInfo does not scan event badges, which is a separate organiser system. When you collect personal details, say why (PDPL and your digital business card). Then export your leads and write to each person within a day or two, while they still remember your work.
