Reorder and hide sections to fit each audience

Move sections up or down and hide the ones you don't need on your MyInfo digital business card, so the right thing is first for each audience.

Every visitor to your card is looking for something different. A recruiter wants your LinkedIn; a client at your clinic wants your booking link; someone you met at a Dubai networking event just wants to save your contact. A MyInfo card doesn't have to show everyone the same order — the Layout tab lets you decide what comes first, and hide what a given moment doesn't need.

Why order matters more than you'd think

Most visitors decide what to tap within a few seconds of opening a card on their phone. Whatever sits closest to the top gets seen; whatever is three scrolls down often isn't. If your card buries a booking link under sections nobody asked for, you're relying on the visitor to keep scrolling instead of putting your best next step in front of them.

What you can reorder

Your photo, name and job title always stay at the top. Below that, you can freely reorder: About, Contact details, Social icons, Action buttons, Links and Videos, and any text sections you've added. A restaurant can put its menu link first; a consultant can put a booking button above the biography; a real estate agent can lead with a phone number at a walk-in viewing and with a listings link everywhere else. What you can hide without deleting

Hiding a section switches it off the visible card — the content stays saved, ready to switch back on. This is different from deleting: nothing is lost, and there's nothing to retype later. It's useful when a section only applies part of the year, or to a specific audience you're not addressing right now.

Match the order to the moment

Think about the two or three situations your card gets shared in most, and set the order for the one that happens most often — most visitors will see that default. If you regularly work two different audiences (say, clients and recruiters), a second card with its own order, built from duplicating your card details into a new one, is often simpler than constantly re-ordering the same card.

How to do it

Open your card in the editor and select Layout. Use the arrows beside a section to move it up or down, and the switch beside it to show or hide it. Select Reset to the default order at any point to start over. Changes go live as soon as you save — nothing needs to be rescanned or reshared. This sits alongside your theme, which controls how the card looks rather than what order things appear in.

Frequently asked questions

Does hiding a section delete its content?

No. Hiding only removes it from view. Switch it back on any time and the content is exactly as you left it.

Can I set a different order for each of my cards?

Yes. Layout is set per card, so if you manage more than one — a personal card and a company card, for example — each can have its own section order and its own sections switched on or off.
