ADIPEC 2026 digital business card plan for energy, engineering and oilfield service teams

An ADIPEC 2026 digital business card plan for energy, engineering and oilfield service teams: dates, one card per person, QR setup, private VIP card and lead follow-up.

At an energy conference you meet an operator, a procurement lead and a contractor within one corridor, and each of them leaves with a different stack of paper cards. An ADIPEC 2026 digital business card plan makes sure your name, company and direct contact end up in their phone, not in a jacket pocket. This guide uses a MyInfo card and only features the product really has.

What we found about ADIPEC 2026

Several event listings show ADIPEC 2026 running from 2 to 5 November 2026 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), organised by dmg events and hosted by ADNOC. One listing gave a different end date, so we treat the organiser's own site as the reference. We did not open every page of it. Confirm dates, passes and exhibitor details with the organiser before you travel or book a stand. If your team continues to Dubai, see our GITEX Global 2026 plan.

Why energy teams need a better card

Energy and engineering contacts are senior, travel between sites and change roles often. A paper card is easy to lose and out of date after the next reshuffle. A digital card gives them a QR code or NFC tap and a Save Contact button, so your details land in their phone book. Because you edit it online, a new title, site or number is live without reprinting (update your card in 30 seconds).

One card per person, in one brand

Business development, project, technical and HSE contacts each have their own role. Give every team member a card with the same theme so the company looks consistent (set up cards for your whole team). Keep it short: name, title, company, one WhatsApp or call button, email, and a link to your services or capability statement. A short text section can list your disciplines and regions (text sections). Engineering firms can also see our guide for engineers and consultancies.

A private card for named clients

Some clients prefer not to have their route to you on a public page. A private card lets you share a separate page only with people you choose. It is a MyInfo privacy feature, covered on the privacy and access page. Keep your public card for the hall and use the private one for key accounts.

Make the QR code work in a busy hall

Put one large QR code on your stand with a blank margin and a line such as "Scan to save our contact". Avoid glossy panels and strong spotlights, and test with an iPhone and an Android phone from the distance a visitor will stand (QR code size and placement). If you carry an NFC card, program it and keep the QR code as backup.

Capture leads and follow up

A free card lets visitors save your contact. To receive their details through an Exchange Contact form, with a lead inbox and CSV export, you need Premium (lead capture). Premium is unlocked per card with a licence PIN from a partner. MyInfo does not scan event badges, which is a separate organiser system. When you collect personal details, say why (PDPL and your digital business card). After each day, export your leads and write to each person within 24 hours.
