Create a custom theme in your brand colours for your digital business card

Built-in templates are a quick start, but a business with a brand wants its exact colours on every card. A MyInfo theme lets you save that look once and reuse it. This guide shows how to create a custom theme for your digital business card and what to decide before you start.

Gather your brand details first

Have your brand colours as hex codes, your logo colours and the fonts you want to use. If you do not have a brand guide, pick one accent colour and one neutral background. Simple beats clever on a phone screen.

Start from a ready-made style

Open Themes in the dashboard, select New theme and name it. You can start from one of the eight ready-made styles, such as Executive Dark, Real Estate Green or Minimal Mono, and adjust from there. Browse the options on the card templates page.

Set colours, fonts, layout and shape

In the theme studio you can choose:

• Colours: accent, background, text and button
• Fonts: a heading font and a body font, and text size
• Layout: left or centre alignment, photo shape and size, cover banner on or off, and spacing
• Shape and buttons: sharp, soft or round corners, filled, outline or soft buttons, and full-width buttons or a compact row of icons

The preview updates immediately, and you can preview with any of your own cards.

Let the readability check help

If your text and background colours are too similar, the studio warns you and will not let you save. Treat that as a design partner. See dark and light card design tips.

Apply it to a card

Open the card, choose the Theme tab and select your theme under Your themes. Steps are in create and apply a theme.

Update once, change everywhere

When you edit a theme, every card that uses it updates, and the studio shows how many cards will change before you confirm. Free accounts can save one custom theme; accounts with a Premium card can save many. For team setups, see create a card for someone else or your team and themes and branding.

Frequently asked questions

Will changing my theme change my details or links?

No. A theme only controls how the card looks. Your details, links and photos stay as they are.

Can I go back to a built-in template?

Yes. Open the card's Theme tab and choose a built-in template at any time.
