If you are searching for a Popl vs Linq vs HiHello alternative, the short answer is that all four are capable products built mainly for US and European teams, and MyInfo is a smaller, UAE-focused option built around one simple job: a live, bilingual-friendly digital business card you can share by link, QR code or NFC tap. None of them is "the best" for everyone. This guide compares what each tool publicly says about itself, states plainly what MyInfo does and does not do, and helps you pick the one that fits how you actually network in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Prices and plans change often, so treat every figure here as a snapshot taken in October 2026 from each company's own site, and check the linked pages before you pay for anything.
What this comparison is, and what it is not
We run MyInfo, so we have an obvious interest. To keep this useful rather than promotional, the rules for this post are simple. Every competitor claim comes from that competitor's own website, linked inline. Anything we could not confirm on their site is left out or labelled as unconfirmed. We do not rank the tools, and we do not say anyone is bad. These are real companies with real customers, and each one is the right answer for some buyers.
The comparison also focuses on what matters to a UAE professional: whether the tool works on both iPhone and Android without an app on the receiver's side, how it handles Arabic, whether it needs a monthly subscription before you can do anything useful, how much hardware you have to buy, and whether the features you are paying for are ones you will really use at a Dubai networking event or a client visit.
Popl: strongest at events and team lead capture
According to Popl's own site, the company has moved heavily towards event lead capture: universal badge scanning, data enrichment, and syncing to CRMs such as Salesforce and HubSpot. Its team pricing page says plans are quote-based, with no extra charge per user or per seat, and that you book a demo to get a price. Both team plans are described as including badge scanning, enrichment, event campaigns with qualifying questions, SOC 2 Type 2 security compliance and a dedicated customer success manager.
That is a serious product for a company sending twenty people to GITEX who must push every scanned lead into Salesforce. It is more than most freelancers need. Popl also offers a separate individual digital business card app, and individual pricing is shown in the app and on its individual pages, so check there for the current free and paid tiers before you decide.
Where Popl fits: larger sales teams, event marketing budgets, CRM-centred workflows. Where it may be more than you need: a solo consultant, a clinic or a small shop who simply wants a good card.
Linq: hardware first, with a subscription behind it
Linq's purchase site sells physical cards, badges and hubs, starting at $14.99 and rising to $59.99 for custom metal laser-engraved cards. It states that products need an active subscription before they can be activated. For individuals it lists multiple profiles, customizable wallet cards, analytics and a business card scanner; for teams, access controls, CRM integrations and remote reprogramming of products; for events, branded QR and NFC products and networking analytics. It also says recipients do not need Linq or an app to receive your details.
Linq is therefore a good match if you want a polished physical product and an ecosystem around it, and you are comfortable with the card, badge or hub being tied to a subscription. Linq's own pricing pages change often, so confirm what the subscription costs in your currency and whether shipping to the UAE applies before you order.
HiHello: free tier with caps, and a clear team plan
HiHello's pricing page is unusually specific, which makes it easy to compare. The free Personal plan covers one user, four digital business cards and five card or badge scans a month, with sharing by QR code, email, SMS and wallet. Professional is listed at $6 a month or $72 a year, with 16 cards, 20 scans a month, contact enrichment, analytics and full customisation. Business is $5 per user per month for teams of five to a hundred users, with unlimited cards and scans, event lead capture, team email signatures, virtual backgrounds, a company directory, CRM integrations for Salesforce, HubSpot and Dynamics, and single sign-on. Enterprise is custom priced.
HiHello describes itself on its homepage as a professional presence platform that centralises digital business cards, email signatures, virtual backgrounds and employee directories. For an HR or marketing team that wants one brand-controlled system for everything, that is attractive. For one person, the most relevant detail is the free plan's cap of five scans a month and no analytics.
Blinq: modern design, wallet access and an AI layer
Blinq's pricing page lists a free plan with two digital business cards, unlimited sharing and contact creation, sharing by QR code, widget, email and SMS, Apple and Google Wallet access and a personal email signature. Premium is shown at $9.99 a month, or $7.33 a month billed annually, for up to five cards, a universal contact scanner, an AI notetaker with contact enrichment, branded QR codes, custom design options and contact export. Business is $6.99 a month, or $4.99 annually, per user, adding team management, admin-controlled templates and branding, lead capture and enrichment, CRM sync and event campaigns. Enterprise is custom, with SSO, SCIM, and SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliance. The page also describes native support for more than 20 CRMs, plus Zapier and API access.
Blinq is a strong fit for someone who lives in Apple Wallet, wants AI-assisted notes after a conversation, or manages a team that needs central branding and CRM sync. Its credit-based lead enrichment means you should read the billing details carefully for your volume.
Where MyInfo is different
MyInfo is a UAE-focused platform. You sign in with an email one-time code, build a card, and share it at a short address such as myinfo.ae/yourname. The things it does well are narrow and deliberate.
- It works as a plain web page, so the person you share with needs no app on iPhone or Android. See what happens when someone taps your card.
- Sharing by link, QR code and NFC is included on every card, free or Premium.
- Visitors can tap Save Contact to add you to their phone in one step (how Save Contact works).
- Fields are free text, so you can write your name, title and company in Arabic and English on the same card (Arabic and English on one card).
- It has 22 built-in templates plus a theme studio for brand colours, fonts and layout (themes and branding).
- Premium adds lead capture with an inbox and CSV export, analytics with total and unique visits, private cards with an access code, more videos and text sections, and priority support.
- Premium is activated per card with a licence PIN from a MyInfo partner rather than a card-on-file subscription. There is no auto-renewal inside the app.
Free is not a trial. A free card has no expiry and keeps its address. Free cards include templates, sharing by link, QR and NFC, Save Contact, social icons and link buttons, one YouTube video, one text section and one saved custom theme. See is MyInfo really free.
What MyInfo does not do
This is the part comparison pages usually skip, so here it is plainly. MyInfo does not currently describe any of the following in its product pages, so do not assume it has them:
- A native CRM integration with Salesforce, HubSpot or Dynamics. You get a CSV export of leads that you can import into your own CRM (export your leads and import into your CRM).
- A badge scanner or business card scanner that reads other people's badges at a conference.
- An AI notetaker or automated contact enrichment.
- Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass export of your card.
- Enterprise single sign-on, SCIM provisioning or a published SOC 2 report.
- Branded physical hardware sold by MyInfo itself. NFC cards and stands come through partners (how to choose an NFC card supplier).
If any of those is a must-have for your company, one of the four tools above is a more honest choice than MyInfo today. Equally, if none of them is, you may be paying for features you will not use.
Pricing models side by side
The clearest difference is how each tool charges. Popl's team plans are quote-based with no per-seat fees, and its individual app has its own tiers. Linq sells hardware that needs an active subscription. HiHello and Blinq publish monthly or annual prices in US dollars, per user for teams, with free plans that cap cards or scans. MyInfo starts free per card, and Premium is a per-card licence PIN supplied by a partner, so a team can agree a bulk licence directly instead of a per-seat dollar subscription.
None of these models is better in the abstract. Per-seat monthly billing suits companies with a finance team and card payments abroad. A licence agreed with a local partner, in dirhams, may suit a UAE business that prefers to pay a local supplier. For the details on how Premium works, see MyInfo Free vs Premium and the pricing page.
Arabic, UAE context and data
For a UAE audience, three practical questions matter more than a feature table. First, can your card read naturally in Arabic and English? On MyInfo every field accepts any text, so Arabic renders right to left beside Latin text; the competitors' own pages we checked do not highlight Arabic support, so test it yourself with a free account before committing. Second, will clients without your app of choice still open your card? A web page does that best. Third, where does visitor data go and what does the law expect? The UAE's personal data law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, applies to personal data you collect, whichever tool you use. Read PDPL and your digital business card and the privacy policy of any vendor you choose.
A simple way to choose
Match the tool to the job rather than to the brand.
- If you run a large events programme and need badge scanning into a CRM, look first at Popl, HiHello Business or Blinq Business.
- If you want a premium physical card and ecosystem, and accept a subscription, look at Linq.
- If you want a design-forward card with wallet access and AI notes, look at Blinq.
- If you want a centrally branded company system with email signatures and directories, look at HiHello Business.
- If you want a simple, bilingual-friendly, locally supported card that works for freelancers, clinics, agents and small teams, with lead capture and analytics only if you need them, try MyInfo.
You can also run a fair trial: create a free card on MyInfo and a free account on one of the others, share both at your next meeting, and see which one people actually open and which one you actually keep updated. For setup help, follow how to create a digital business card and the setup checklist for the UAE. If your main worry is leaving a tool later, check how easily you can export your own data first, because that is the best protection against lock-in whichever product you pick.
Before you pay for anything
Whatever you choose, run through five checks. Confirm the current price in your currency, since US dollar plans carry conversion and card fees. Confirm what happens to your card and its address when you stop paying. Confirm whether the free plan caps cards, scans or contacts. Confirm how you export your data. And confirm that someone who receives your card on a phone without your tool installed can still read it and save your number. A card that needs the other person to install something has already lost half its convenience in a hallway at a trade show.
If you would like to see how a lighter tool feels, create your free MyInfo card in a few minutes and compare it with the others using your own details.
Frequently asked questions
Which is the best Popl, Linq, HiHello or Blinq alternative for UAE users?
It depends on what you need. If you want large-scale event badge scanning and CRM sync, the larger platforms such as Popl, HiHello Business or Blinq Business are built for that. If you want a simple, shareable card that reads well in Arabic and English, works on any phone without an app and does not need a card-on-file subscription, MyInfo is a reasonable alternative. Try a free card on each and compare using your own details.
Can I switch from Popl, Linq, HiHello or Blinq to MyInfo?
Yes. A MyInfo card is built from your own details, so you can recreate it in a few minutes at create, choose an address, and point your NFC card or QR code to the new link. Check how your current tool lets you export contacts first. If you already own a programmable NFC card, a MyInfo partner or the program an NFC card guide shows how to rewrite it.
