On this page
A client finds you through an Instagram reel, a friend's recommendation or a walk-in — then loses your number before they book again. A digital business card fixes that with one scan or tap. Use this checklist to set yours up properly.
Build the card
- A clean photo and your specialty. Hair, nails, lashes, skin — say it plainly so the right client books you.
- Your booking link. A button to your booking app, or a WhatsApp number set up for appointment requests.
- Instagram and portfolio. Link buttons to where your before/after work actually lives.
- Opening hours and location. A text section for hours (including Ramadan and summer changes) plus a Google Directions icon.
- Price list or service menu. Link to a PDF or price page, or summarise your top services in a text section.
- Google Reviews. One tap for a happy client to leave a review while the result is still fresh.
Put it in the right order
New clients decide fast. In the Layout tab, move your booking button and WhatsApp above your Instagram and reviews so the fastest path to a booking comes first. See reorder and hide sections.
Share it at every touchpoint
- At the reception desk. A QR code sticker on the counter or styling mirror.
- On receipts and reminder cards. Print the code so it travels home with the client.
- At the front desk. An NFC card or stand for a one-tap handover on the way out.
- On social media. Put your card link in your Instagram bio so followers reach every service, not just one post.
Turn walk-ins into repeat bookings
On a Premium card, Exchange Contact lets a client leave their name and number without you writing anything down on a pad. Every enquiry lands in your lead inbox, which you can export for rebooking reminders and follow-up offers.
Keep every stylist on brand
If the salon or spa has several stylists or therapists, give each their own card and address, then apply one shared theme in the salon's colours to all of them. Update the theme once and every card updates together. See more on the salons and beauty professionals page.
Before you go live
- Open your card on your phone and tap every button, including the booking link.
- Ask a colleague to scan the QR code from across the reception desk.
- Check your hours and price list are current before printing anything.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a website to use a digital business card at my salon?
No. Your card is its own page at your own address. Add your booking link, Instagram, hours and services directly to it — no website needed.
Can each stylist have a personal card under one salon brand?
Yes. Give each stylist or therapist their own card, then apply the salon's shared theme so every card carries the same colours while each person keeps their own contact details and bookings.
