Add your WhatsApp Business catalogue to your MyInfo card

Sell straight from a WhatsApp Business catalogue by adding it as a link button on your MyInfo digital business card. Here's how, in a few minutes.

Many UAE shops, salons and home businesses already list their products or services in a WhatsApp Business catalogue. The trouble is getting someone from a first meeting or a scanned QR code to that catalogue without an extra step of typing a number and asking for it. A MyInfo card can carry the catalogue link itself, so browsing your products is one tap away from the moment someone finds your card.

A MyInfo card can hold two separate WhatsApp connections at once, and they do different jobs. The WhatsApp social icon opens a chat with you directly — see links, videos and content for the full list of social icons. A custom link button in "Other links" can point anywhere, including your catalogue link, which is a different destination from a chat window. Keeping both means a visitor can either message you or browse your catalogue, whichever they want first.

Inside the WhatsApp Business app, open your catalogue and use its share option to copy the link. That's the URL you'll paste into MyInfo — nothing needs to be rebuilt or re-typed on the WhatsApp side.

  1. Sign in, open your card and stay on the Content tab.
  2. In Other links, enter a Button label such as "View our catalogue".
  3. Paste your catalogue link as the Destination URL and select Add custom link.

The full steps for this screen are in add social icons and link buttons, which also confirms link buttons are meant for exactly this — a menu, portfolio, catalogue or document link.

Put it where people will see it

Once the button is added, open the Layout tab and move it up, so a retail or services card leads with the catalogue rather than burying it below your bio. You can reorder or hide any section at any time without affecting the link itself.

Good for boutiques, salons and home businesses

A salon or beauty business can lead with a treatment menu, and a home-based seller can lead with their full product list, all from the same card address they already share by link, QR code or NFC. If your catalogue changes weekly, only the WhatsApp side needs updating — your MyInfo button keeps pointing at the same link.

Frequently asked questions

No. Custom link buttons, including a WhatsApp catalogue link, are included on every free MyInfo card, alongside the WhatsApp social icon.

What if I update my catalogue later?

Nothing on your MyInfo card needs to change unless your catalogue's link itself changes. If it does, edit the button's destination URL from the Content tab and the update applies immediately, with nothing to reprint.
