Photo uploads have a few simple limits.
Check these
- File type. Only JPEG, PNG and WebP images are accepted. Other files, including PDFs and GIFs, are not.
- File size. Each photo can be up to 1 MB. Large photos are shrunk in your browser first, but very large ones can still be refused.
- Number of photos. Each account can keep up to 10 photos, up to 3 MB in total. Delete one you no longer use in Media to make room.
- Very large dimensions. Photos with a huge pixel count are refused. Use a smaller version.
Tips
- Crop your photo to the shape you need before uploading.
- Use a clear, well-lit photo of your face for your profile image.
